Start with the basics and train your upper body and balance with this simple move, called the front hook. Begin with this move until you can master it and it’s second nature.

Start by holding your hand high on the pole, begin walking around the pole, grab with your other hand to balance the spin, and hook your leg around the pole. End with a soft landing.
